About Us
 Our Story
It's Meow or Never Animal Sanctuary, a
501(c)(3) organization, was
founded by Madonna Stewart and actor/model Michael Elan in 2003.
As an active cat-rescuer, Michael and Madonna have
successfully trapped, altered, and released
hundreds of cats -- usually those in cat
colonies made up of ferals and strays.
They both believe that cat rescue is not a
hobby, but more a responsibility not to be
taken lightly. Both Madonna and Michael have dedicated much of their
spare time caring for homeless cats, funding
their food and medical care out of pocket.
Through vital donations to It's Now or
Never Animal Sanctuary, Madonna and her team
of dedicated volunteers are able to care for
more animals. We soon hope to purchase
land and build a facility to provide expanded
rescue services to these animals in dire
need.
At It's Meow or Never Animal Sanctuary, we
are:
- raising funds to open a
sanctuary/adoption center
- funding spay, neuter, testing and
vaccinations
- feeding and providing shelter to feral
and stray cats
- adopting animals to loving, forever
homes
- and providing
helpful resources to
animal enthusiasts and pet owners.
Our Volunteers
Michael
Michael is our founder and the vision
behind It's Meow or Never Animal Sanctuary.
He spends a good portion of his time
traveling between cat colonies and caring for
them.
Danny
Danny coordinates the efforts of all our
generous volunteers. If you would like to get

Madonna
Madonna is our founder and takes care of all aspects of our
adoption program ensuring that the animals in
our shelter end up in loving, forever homes.
Layla
Our secretary/treasurer and webmaster,
Layla donates technology support through her
company,
Ladybug Web Design.
Regina
Regina helps coordinate the funding
required to care for our many rescued
